The PvP gameshow arena, The Finals, is getting a new event for Season 11 called THE FINALS: Orbital Hitters. Players will be put in a 5v5 low-gravity environment and attempt to knock enemies out of the arena. This event comes with a rewards wheel with free cosmetics items. Today, Embark Studios revealed a new event coming to Season 11 of THE FINALS: Orbital Hitters. Bringing a cosmic twist to the fan-favorite Heavy Hitters mode, this limited-time 5v5 showdown equips contestants with only sledgehammers. Contestants will fight to knock opponents out of the arena to reach the cash prize and claim victory. The event will run from August 20 through September 10.
Highlights of the new event include:
* Relay Grid Map: Step into a space-themed, highly-destructible reskin of the map from the previous Heavy Hitters mode. In Relay Grid, gravity effects and boosted knockback mechanics make melee hits send opponents flying out of the arena and into orbit.
* Deep Signal Event Wheel: Players can earn up to three tickets a day by completing in-game contracts. Tickets can be used to spin the wheel and unlock rewards, including 20 free cosmetics plus one exclusive final reward. Duplicate rewards turn into Golden Tickets that guarantee a new, unowned item.
* New DLC Store Bundles: Contestants can pick up the new Sugar Shocker or Sugar Crasher sets, each featuring 1 legendary outfit, 1 legendary Heavy RFB skin, 1 legendary emote, 1 rare charm and 2,400 Multibucks.
