Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is officially out on Nintendo Switch 2, marking the very first time FromSoftware's genre-defining open-world RPG has landed on a Nintendo platform. The Switch 2 release packs the base game together with the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, letting players tackle the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow in either docked or handheld mode.

Alongside the launch, players on every platform can pick up brand-new content. Elden Ring Tarnished Edition on Switch 2 introduces two new Starting Classes, the Heavy Knight and the Idus Knight, along with four new armor sets and three new customization options for Torrent, the player's Spectral Steed. All of that content is also available for existing Elden Ring players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam as the Tarnished Pack.

ELDEN RING™ Tarnished Edition, the open world action RPG from FromSoftware Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., is now available on Nintendo Switch™2. In ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition, players will chart their own path in the vast and seamless world of the Lands Between, on foot or riding Torrent, their trusted Spectral Steed. Exploration is endless in this world full of wonders, but dangers lurk around every corner. The Nintendo Switch 2 title also bundles in the acclaimed expansion Shadow of the Erdtree, featuring an epic new adventure expanding on the story of the original, where players step into the Realm of Shadow, following in the footsteps of Miquella. 
ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition also features brand new content, introducing two new Starting Classes, the Heavy Knight and the Idus Knight, along with four new armor sets that include two new starting class sets. For the first time, players can also customize Torrent, choosing from three new appearance options.  The new content is also available for purchase on other platforms as the Tarnished Pack.
