Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment America officially revealed Dragon Ball Z – Project Z (working title), the next retelling of the Dragon Ball Z story. Instead of a traditional fighting game, Project Z will be an Action RPG, but the gameplay mechanics have yet to be revealed.
Currently in development at Tokyo, Japan based video game developer, CyberConnect2; the game will tell the legendary story of DRAGON BALL Z, taking players on an unforgettable adventure to experience over-the-top battles and challenging quests, create life-long friendships, and crusade to protect Earth from fearsome villains.
While officially revealed, the trailer doesn’t highlight the action of the game, but it does show Goku walking around, implying that there will be some sort of free movement to the game. Project Z is also only the working title for the game, as more gameplay and the full title will be revealed at a later date.
Dragon Ball Z – Project Z (working title) will be released later this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Keep following Gaming Trend for more information on this title as we get closer to its launch.
