Today, Ubisoft announced that the remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Black Flag Resynced, will release on July 9th, 2026. The game will be available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Steam and Epic Games.

With development led by Ubisoft Singapore, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has players once again in the jackboots of Edward Kenway, a rebellious pirate captain drawn into the never ending conflict between Assassin's and Templars. As he sails across the Caribbean, he'll cross paths with legendary figures like Blackeard, Anne Bonny, and Calico Jack.

During the showcase, Ubisoft also revealed that Grammy-nominated artist Woodkid is returning for this game, collaborating on a yet-to-be-shown track.

You can pre-order the standard edition of the game right here for $59.99 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Those playing on PC can refer to the below graphic for system requirements.
