Today, 8BitDo announced their latest controller: the Ultimate 3C+ Wireless. The controller, priced at $39.99, features Dual Force Ring joysticks, switchable Hall Effect triggers, L4 and R4 bumpers, two lockable back buttons, and trigger-and-grip vibration.
Dual Force Ring: Adjustable Tension, Smooth-Gliding Control
Dual Force Ring combines adjustable joystick tension with a soft-stop silicone ring beneath each stick. Together, they provide a tunable, smooth-gliding stick feel. Players can adjust the resistance for a lighter or firmer stick feel, depending on their preference and the type of game they are playing.
The TMR joysticks are supported by a 12-bit ADC sampling chip and a 216MHz processor. Together, the system is designed for precise joystick control and fast response.

Updated Grip for a More Natural Hold
Compared with the Ultimate 2C, the Ultimate 3C+ uses a wider grip angle designed for a more natural and comfortable hold over longer sessions.
More Control Without Additional Software
Hall Effect triggers can switch between linear and non-linear tactile modes for different play styles. L4 and R4 fast bumpers can be remapped directly on the controller, while two back buttons add more input options. A physical back- button lock helps prevent accidental presses when the buttons are not needed.

Enhanced Vibration Experience
Synchronized trigger and grip vibration provide tactile feedback across both the triggers and controller body.
“8Speed” 2.4G Wireless and 1000Hz Polling Rate
8BitDo's 8Speed wireless technology supports 2.4G latency as low as 1ms. The Ultimate 3C+ also supports a 1000Hz polling rate under both 2.4G wireless and wired connections.
Magnetic 2.4G Adapter Storage
The included 2.4G adapter attaches magnetically to the back of the controller, keeping it close at hand between sessions.
Pre-orders are open now, and the device launches on October 30th, 2026. For more on all things 8BitDo, stay tuned to GamingTrend.
