It’s that time of year again, Geoff Kieghley’s The Game Awards are airing tonight at 5:30PM PST and like past years, award winners aren’t the only things being announced tonight. This year, we are expecting to nearly a dozen game announcements on top of seeing what games are deemed the best in over 30 award categories and live musical performances.
Already confirmed to be making an appearance is the next entry in the Far Cry series, information about upcoming Fortnite Season 7 content, the next game from the original Fallout studio Obsidian, and an announcement by Reggie Fils Aime on a Nintendo-related title, whether that be something unannounced or something related to tomorrow’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
There are plenty of rumored announcements as well including a Crash Tag Team Racing remaster by Eurogamer, a new trailer for Metroid Prime 4 (or even a Metroid Prime Trilogy announcement), or even the Square Enix developed game set in The Avengers universe.
The Game Awards will go live at 5:30PM PST and can be viewed on YouTube live in 4K, Twitch, Twitter, or Facebook. Stay tuned to Gaming Trend as we await information coming out of the event.
