Last night, SEGA teased a trio of titles at The Game Awards. This included Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a new Virtua Fighter from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and Project Century, also from RGG.

Revealed during the show was Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the racing game featuring the iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog™ universe. The game features a distinct racing mechanic that promises to transport Sonic racing fans into a new dimension.

New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project was confirmed alongside a brand-new concept, Project Century, from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, creators of the Like a Dragon™ franchise. The latest entry in the series, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii™, will release on February 21, 2025.

“SEGA continues to dig into its treasure trove of IP to bring back what our fans have been asking for,” said Shuji Utsumi, President and COO of SEGA Corporation. “This year we are proud to reveal Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, a completely new project in the Virtua Fighter series, and a brand-new concept from RGG Studio that for now we’re calling Project Century. This is in addition to last year’s reveals of Crazy Taxi™, Jet Set Radio™, and more. We will continue to look for opportunities to add to our incredible publishing lineup in the future.”

With these upcoming additions, SEGA is building upon an acclaimed catalog of games that includes Metaphor: ReFantazio which was honored at The Game Awards with the following:
