Synth Riders goes back to the 80s with new “80s Mixtape – Side B” DLC pack, featuring Queen, Toto, Wham!, The Cure, Rick Astley, and more. Los Angeles, CA (January 9, 2025): The era of big hair and even bigger music hits is making a triumphant return in Virtual Reality. Today marks the release of the “80s Mixtape – Side B” for Synth Riders, available on Meta Quest, SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, and Apple Vision Pro. This DLC music pack for Kluge Interactive’s popular freestyle dancing rhythm game features seven iconic tracks from legendary ‘80s artists.

Players can return to the 80s-inspired Endless Café stage to groove to these tracks, or explore any of the other retrowave-inspired stages. With the addition of the “80s Mixtape Side B”, Synth Riders’ soundtrack now boasts over 150 songs, including 77 licensed tracks free with the game and 75 optional DLCs featuring artists like a-ha, Gorillaz, Muse, Bruno Mars, and Lindsey Stirling.
This is just the beginning for Kluge Interactive. . In 2025 and beyond, the team plans to release more tracks and Experiences – like the recent Barbie™ collaboration with Mattel – while continuing to establish Synth Riders as a premier immersive platform for discovering great music.
The “80s Mixtape – Side B” music pack is now available in Synth Riders on Meta Quest 2 & 3, PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR, with individual songs priced at $1.99 or as part of a bundle for $10.99. All tracks are included for Apple Arcade subscribers on Apple Vision Pro.
