Today, publisher SOEDESCO announced that D-Pad’s indie platformer, Owlboy, will be receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 this May.
Owlboy is a story-driven platformer where you play as Otus, the mute struggling to deal with owl-hood. Through the game, you explore beautiful 2D animated environments, soar through the skies, and battle sky pirates. This game also allows player to explore large dungeons and carry anything including Otus’s gunner friends.
Previous, a physical release was only confirmed for PlayStation 4. Today is the first time plans for a Nintendo Switch physical release have been revealed.
Owlboy will be released physically on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on May 29th, 2018. Curious to know what we thought about Owlboy? Check out our review here.
