One more for the road, Baldur’s Gate 3’s Patch 7 is out now on PC

Today, Larian Studios launched the final major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3. This patch introduces brand new evil endings, revamped split screen gameplay, the official modding tools, and more.

Patch 7’s contents bring something for everyone! Whether it’s multiplayer, mutations or mutilations, we reckon we’ve got you covered. Highlights include:

• New ‘Evil Endings’: Brand-new cinematic endings for your most villainous playthroughs, as well as unique endings if playing an Origin Character.
• Our Very Own Mod Manager: Browse, install, and use mods created by the community!
• Revamped Split-Screen Gameplay: Dynamic split-screen is now available for multiplayer! When playing split-screen, each side will merge when you near each other and split back up as you head off on your own adventures.

Following a successful period in closed beta, the launch of today’s modding toolkit marks a key moment for Baldur’s Gate 3, as the community becomes empowered to unleash their full creativity upon the Sword Coast – what could possibly go wrong? Players will now be able to access a range of new mods from within the game, and even try their hands at making some themselves. A full modding Q&A can be found here.

Today’s patch also adds improvements to Honour Mode, including new Legendary Actions, as well as numerous bug fixes for Origin Character and Dark Urge playthroughs. There may even be a way for a certain Tiefling bard to join the party…for a time. Just don’t get too attached. Full patch notes for Patch 7 can be found on Steam.
