Today, Limited Run Games announced that Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore will be featured in Summer Games Done Quick, or SGDQ. The event will take place from June 30th through July 6th in Minneapolis, MN.
GDQ is a much-loved series of video game marathons, where the gaming elite compete in speed running challenges, all in the name of charity. To date, Games Done Quick has raised over $45 million dollars for charity.
To celebrate the inclusion of Arzette in this summer’s GDQ event, Limited Run Games is going one step further and announcing their very own Arzette community speed running contest! Starting today and ending July 9th, all members of the gaming community are invited to battle for the fastest time. Simply record gameplay of their run with no cuts or edits and submit their speed run. One lucky winner will win a signed Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore Collector’s Edition and a $500 dollar cash prize! Two runner-ups will win a signed copy of the game.
