GreedFall II: The Dying World sets sail into early access

The new world awaits. GreedFall II: The Dying World has been a long time coming, and now it’s available in early access. There is plenty to play now, and a lot more coming in the future, so you’ll want to dive right in. You can grab the early access version on Steam, check that out here along with more details below. Lesquin, France, 24 September 2024 – NACON and Spiders studio are delighted to announce that GreedFall II: The Dying World is now available in early access for PC on Steam. This second title in the best-selling narrative RPG, which has already attracted over 2 million players, will get its full release on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.

GreedFall II: The Dying World is a narrative RPG which starts three years before the events of the first game. This time, you play as a native of Teer Fradee, uprooted by force from your island and taken to the continent of Gacane, the homeland of the renaigsa (‘foreigners’ in Yecht Fradí). In this old world in a constant state of conflict, and ravaged by the Malichor plague and the political scheming of various factions, you must regain your freedom and forge your own destiny. Tackle each challenge you face through diplomacy, cunning or your combat skills, and alongside your new-found allies, put an end to the dark schemes that threaten the continent and your island.

What early access brings
Starting now, players can discover the beginning of the main quest, explore the regions of Teer Fradee, Thynia and Uxantis, and get to know some of the characters who will accompany them on their journey.
Additionally, the game’s content will be enriched throughout the duration of the early access, with several updates offering  new features, improvements and balancing, as well as new explorable areas, companions, quests, skills, a Photo mode and much more! The first major upcoming updates are detailed in the roadmap below, and an Early Access presentation video is also available to summarise everything you need to know.
