Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games are excited to unveil Echonok, the location of the third and final act in Torchlight III. Torchlight III is currently available in Steam Early Access but players will have access to Echonok and all the additional story content, unique environments, and challenging dungeons on June 30.
Players exploring Echonok will continue their quest to put a stop to the Netherim incursion while plundering the ancient halls of the Dwarves. After defeating the twisted, Netherim-infested Sadista, it’s up to brave Torchlight III adventurers to take down her cunning sister Veriss, who carries the Void Heart, and with it, the power to merge the human and Netherim worlds. However, preventing Veriss’ deadly plan from unfolding is not a simple quest to complete; players need to safely navigate the craggy peaks of Mt. Echonok where the Voltura, vile and strange bird-machine hybrid scavengers, have made and viciously defend their homes.
With the fate of humanity at risk, adventurers must brave the new frontier and hack and slash their way to save the human worlds from the evil Netherim once and for all.
Torchlight III is the latest successor to the ARPG cult classics, Torchlight I & II, originally developed by Runic Games. This fast-paced dungeon crawler brings fans back to the beloved Torchlight universe to hack and slash their way through a brand new world filled with hordes of goblins, undead and other dangerous Netherim creatures. Adventurers can party up with friends or venture into the vast wilderness alone, where they will find loot, explore dungeons, collect epic gear and build their very own fort to show off to the world. Torchlight III features four unique hero classes (Dusk Mage, Forged, Railmaster and Sharpshooter), plus a myriad of new and familiar combat pets to help players fight their way to fame and glory.
If you’ve already purchased the game make sure to check out this new update on June 30th and if you haven’t tried it yet make sure to head to the Steam page and give it a look. Stay tuned to Gaming Trend for all your gaming news.
