Call of Duty Modern Warfare II beta breaks franchise records

The beta for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II was the biggest in franchise history.  I’d say I was shocked, but this game looks and plays incredible. It wasn’t the only record breaker as Warzone Mobile topped 15 million preregistrations on Google Play. It’s safe to say both players and the development team cannot wait for the launch. You can read the full details of the beta’s success in the announcement below. Don’t forget if you digitally preorder you get access to the campaign a week early:

Campaign Early Access - Borderline | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II beta wrapped up yesterday and it was one for the record books! Call of Duty players made the Modern Warfare II Open Beta the biggest beta in Call of Duty history, with the most players, most hours played, and most matches across all platforms combined.

Additionally, the Call of Duty community has already made Warzone Mobile the fastest Activision, Blizzard and King mobile game to top 15 million pre-registrations on Google Play. Players who pre-register before launch can now look forward to unlocking the Emblem: Dark Familiar and Vinyl: Foe’s Flame, as well as the X12 Prince of Hell Blueprint and M4 – Archfiend Weapons Blueprints when the game launches next year. One more unrevealed reward awaits at 25 million pre-registrations.

There are also many beta rewards coming to Modern Warfare II players beginning October 28 and Warzone 2.0 players beginning November 16.
