We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week!

We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Boom! Studios!

At the end, we have a new piece by Tim Jenkins on Logan: Black, White & Blood #4! Keep an eye out for a preview of the comics we're covering this week!

The Crown: A Tale of Hell - Issue #2

The world of Hellboy is extremely interesting with or without him being the centerpiece of the story. With a fight happening over who will take over Pandemonium. We have a political thriller of the wildest nature.

If you've read a lot of Mike and Todd Mignola's stories, you'll find a lot of joy reading through this short two-part series in the hells. While Warwick Johnson-Cadwell brings excellent art that brings these characters to life quickly!

MARVEL/DC: Spider-Man/Superman - Issue #1

Two of the biggest sweeties in comics come together for an epic crossover featuring them and a ton of their friends.

While obviously this isn't canon in the way other comics are, I love when publishers work together to bring their characters into the action side by side. Spider-Man and Superman are two characters that completely compliment each other in the funniest of ways.

This comic is longer and has multiple stories with multiple writer/artist teams. This brings another level of fun as you'll never be able to guess what might happen on the next page.

Alice Forever After - Issue #1

When it comes to "what could be," after the main story, Alice in Wonderland has always scratched an itch in my brain. I enjoy most of the content I've interacted with from games to movies to TV specials, and now comics. Alice Forever After is a sequel to Alice Ever After and Alice Never After.

You don't have to read the other two to enjoy this series so far, but things sure do fill in gaps you'll be missing. However, the comic does a great job setting you up for success by giving you a tiny recap as to the current issues in Wonderland and then the real world!

If you're a fan of Alice in Wonderland and want a new look at her "after" time, take a look at Alice Forever After!

Logan: Black, White & Blood - Issue #4 impressions

Continuing the journey through Logan's long, bloody life, Logan: Black, White, & Blood #4 sees the clawed hero fighting monsters, demons, and interplanetary scavengers.

While the stories in this volume of Marvel's anthology series are a bit more of a mixed bag than the previous issues, they're each still exciting in their own ways, providing entertaining additions to Logan's lengthy life that are complemented excellently by the limited color palette.
