From PlayStation Blog, Housemarque announced that the SAROS: Zenith update is available now for no additional charge. The update brings new modes and accessibility features including:
- Eclipse Layers: A New Game+ mode that unlocks after clearing SAROS. Each Eclipse Layer offers a more intense version of the game with altered rules. Players select a loadout of Carcosan Modifiers to customize the challenge.
- Crown and Visions: During Eclipse Layers, Arjun dons a Crown that becomes larger as players take on more Trials and their Modifier Balance increases. The Crown is also the key to Visions, a new collectible found in Eclipse Layers. 12 Visions are located across Carcosa and take the form of murals and messages etched into stone.
- Overlord Rush: A new mode where players race to quickly dispatch the powerful Overlords from the main game while competing with friends and players around the world on an integrated leaderboard.
