PLAION and Skydance Games do an Avengers style publishing teamup for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra

You’re only as good as your team. While I get the feeling from the first trailer we’ve seen from Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, that it might take a second for Black Panther and Captain America to work together, thankfully the publishing behind the game isn’t suffering that fate. PLAION, the company behind great games like the recent Nobody Wants To Die and Dead Island 2 is teaming up with Skydance Games to publish the upcoming Marvel game, and that’s music to our ears. PLAION has entered into a worldwide publishing partnership with Skydance Games to bring its blockbuster game MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra to players in 2025.

MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra is a narrative-driven, ensemble adventure game featuring Captain America, Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris. MARVEL 1943: Rise of Hydra stunned players earlier this year with a spectacular trailer and showcase at Epic Games’ State of Unreal event at GDC. The game hails from the Skydance Games team led by award-winning industry icon Amy Hennig (Uncharted) and Co-President Julian Beak.
