Wrocław, October 15 - Techland and Embody today announced that Immerse Gamepack is coming to Dying Light 2 Stay Human and Dying Light: The Beast, taking the series’ immersive audio experience even further with personalized spatial sound.

Sound has always played an important role in building the atmosphere, tension and sense of danger across the Dying Light universe. With Immerse Gamepack integrated through Enhanced Headphone Mode, Techland and Embody are taking that experience further. The audio is tailored to players’ ears and headphones, giving the sounds of Villedor and Castor Woods a greater sense of space and direction.

The collaboration combines Techland’s experience in creating immersive soundscapes with Embody’s personalized audio technology.

“The first time I met the Embody team, we had the chance to put on headphones and play some of our favorite games with Immerse. It felt like I was hearing those worlds in a completely new way. From that moment, I was really excited about what this technology could bring to Dying Light. We quickly started working together to bring that same experience to players around the world - so they can hear more and fear more.”
Vincent Rouilhac, Live Product Development Director at Techland

“In horror, the scariest moments come from what you hear before you see what's coming. Techland built some of the most terrifying worlds in gaming, and together with the Dying Light Audio Team, we’ve tuned Immerse Gamepack to personalize spatial audio to each player’s ears and headphones. Every growl of the Infected comes from exactly where it should: behind you, above you, closing in. Villedor and Castor Woods have never sounded more real.”
Kapil Jain, CEO of Embody

Immerse Gamepack will launch in Dying Light 2: Stay Human and Dying Light: The Beast soon through Enhanced Headphone Mode.

From day one, players will be able to try it free for 14 days, with full access across both games. The trial gives them the chance to discover how personalized audio can transform the way they hear and experience the world of Dying Light.
