Moss and its sequel are SO good that we actually reviewed both of them...twice! (Moss - my review, Moss - Richard's review, and Moss Book II - David's review, Moss Book II - Richard's review) If you haven't experienced it for yourself, then there's probably a reason – it's exclusive to VR platforms. Well, that's all changing. Today, Polyarc announced that Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a collection of Book I and Book II, will be coming this summer to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1|2! If you're unfamiliar with Moss, let me bring you up to speed!
Moss: The Forgotten Relic is an emotional and atmospheric adventure set in the pages of a living storybook, brimming with myth and ancient magic. Moss tells the tale of Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her home. Blending exploration, environmental puzzles, combat, and a heartfelt connection between player and hero, this fabled story invites players into a timeless fantasy adventure designed to stay with them long after the final page is turned.
I cannot overstate just how good this pair of games is, and I'm excited to see Quill come to life for all new audiences. Here's a bit more about what we can expect from the upcoming duology:
Moss: The Forgotten Relic Key Features:
- Explore a fallen kingdom slowly reclaimed by nature
- Guide Quill through mysterious places and towering dangers
- Solve handcrafted, diorama-like environmental puzzles
- Discover hidden secrets and surprises off the beaten path
- Face arcane threats with optional “skip combat” accessibility

With 160+ awards and nominations, Moss is one of the most celebrated modern indie adventure franchises. When folks talk about games as art, they're talking about exactly this. Here's what Danny Bulla, Co-Founder and Design Director at Polyarc had to say about the game:
Our team has a deeply personal connection with the world and characters of Moss, with The Forgotten Relic, we're excited to invite players into Quill's journey to share the wonder, mystery, and heart at the center of Moss.
