
Today, Insomniac Games have officially revealed that Marvel’s Spider-Man, the latest game adaptation of the web-slinging super hero, has officially gone gold. This means that the game has completed development and is ready to be released on September 7th of this year.

In this iteration of many Spider-Man game adaptions, Peter Parker, a 23 year old college student interning at a laboratory, and has been Spider-Man for 8 years. However, things get complicated for him around New York City when several of his foes from over his years of fighting appear along with a new gang called the “Inner Demons.” Like past Spider-Man games, this one will once again focus on the open-world aspect as there are plenty of missions for the player to tackle while exploring New York City.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will be released exclusively for PlayStation 4 on September 7th, 2018. During E3, I had a chance to play the game and see how web-slinging around New York City felt. To see the hands-on preview of the game, check it out here.
