LEGO Universe , an MMO tailored for a younger audience, has today launched its free-to-play (F2P) model giving players a chance to experience a small slice of the game’s overall content. Players who choose the F2P model will be able to play in what is called the Free Play Zone which features two adventure areas and one player property area, compared to paying members who can play in over 15 adventure areas and build in 5 property areas.
The F2P model in LEGO Universe is very limited and acts more like a demo than anything, allowing you to get a taste of what the game is about before you dive into a full membership which costs $10 per month.
Sean started playing video games in infancy. He was not given a choice as much as a directive from his parents to be the best gamer on Earth. Sean was subjected to 10-12 hours of rigorous daily gaming throughout his youth, mastering the most complex video games and dominating online competitions. Sean's symbiotic relationship with video games led to writing about them for various gaming websites, and he is currently involved in sales strategy and analytics at one of the largest video game publishers in the world. Sean's mission is simple: Turn 100% of the human population into gamers, willingly or otherwise.
