Hello Kitty Island Adventure releases January 30 for Switch and PC

Hello Kitty is not a franchise I expected a fun game out of. However, after a little bit of time with it at Summer Game Fest (that preview here), I can see a lot of promise. If you’re all about Animal Crossing, this fits, alongside more engaging activities. Thankfully, you’ll be able to play it outside of Apple Arcade shortly, as the game will release on January 30th for the Nintendo Switch and PC. Boulder, Colorado (Jan. 7, 2025) – Hello Kitty Island Adventure, the critically acclaimed cozy life sim developed by Sunblink and Sanrio, will launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on January 30, 2025. PlayStation releases will follow later in the year. Players can now pre-order the game for both Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2023 and winner of a Webby People’s Voice Award, Hello Kitty Island Adventure first launched exclusively via Apple Arcade and was one of 2023’s biggest mobile sensations, winning the Apple Arcade Game of the Year award. Now, Hello Kitty and Friends can’t wait to extend their vacation to Nintendo Switch and PC.
