Today, Frogwares announced that it will release its horror title The Sinking City for the Nintendo Switch on September 12. The game will come with a standard and deluxe version available at launch, with special care taken to the Switch version of the game.
The Sinking City team can finally share their Switch release date, and it’s right around the corner.
“We did our best to optimize the game and ensure it runs at a stable 30 frames throughout. We also improved combat a bit to have more weight and feel. Weapons now have new gunshot sounds, improved recoil and new visual effects. We also did our best to improve the game from people’s feedback. So things like crowd behavior and pedestrian AI has been tweaked along with all around additional levels of polishing and bug fixing.” Said Serge Chervonnyi, Game Producer Manager.
Frogwares have included a selection of timed pre-order bonuses for the Nintendo Switch edition while also putting together a Deluxe Edition with additional side missions. The standard version will retail for $49.99 while the Deluxe Edition is set for $64.99.
The Switch version of the game is currently slated for a digital-only release, but the team plans to have the best portable experience for this version of the game. Check out the trailer above, read Travis’ review of the Xbox One version, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
