New Wave, known for their incredibly detailed and working miniature arcades, known as replicades, recently released details on their latest products: Food Fight X Replicade and Coke / New Coke Vending Machine Mini Fridges. All three products are avilable now for pre-order for $139.99, $20.00 off their normal price. You can learn more about these products below:
New Wave has announced a pair of retro reproductions that’ll help wet your whistle and give you a taste of pure ’80s nostalgia. Officially licensed and functional Coke Replica Vending Machine Mini Fridges keep a pair of your favorite beverages chilled while making your desk or shelves a little cooler. And a fully functional Food Fight x RepliCade arcade cabinet lets you fling foodstuffs without fear of getting booted from your school cafeteria or local roller rink. Both products are available for pre-order now on New Wave’s online store as part of its Summer Pre-Sale Event.
The 1/6 scale Coke Replica Vending Machine Mini Fridges are exquisitely detailed reproductions of the iconic originals, including working coin slots that release tiny Coke cans at the press of an illuminated selection button. A magnetically sealed door swings open to reveal a refrigerated stash for a pair of 12 oz. cans or a single bottle. The vending machines are available in Coca-Cola Classic and New Coke variants for a promotional price of $139.99 each – $20 off the usual price. They’re expected to ship Q4 2022.
Food Fight x RepliCade is the latest game in New Wave’s line of miniature arcade replicas. This 1/6 scale machine is a faithful, playable recreation of Atari’s 1983 game, including a host of tiny touches that arcade dwellers will love. It plays the full food-tossing game on either its built-in LCD or on a larger display via HDMI. Players can make the cabinet their own with an adhesive wad of pre-chewed “gum” or by replacing the standard joystick topper with a banana – an homage to the arcade original’s field-testing days. Food Fight x RepliCade is available in a standard edition or a pre-order exclusive edition that includes a few special cabinet-art tweaks. Both versions are available for pre-order for $139.99, which is $20 off their usual price, and are expected to ship Q1 2023.
