EA SPORTS College Football 25 showcases “Sights and Sounds Deep Dive” blog post!

As we mentioned in our news article yesterday, college football is a tradition unlike many out there and we discussed the toughest places to play in College Football 25!

Today, our friends at EA Sports have unveiled one of the coolest deep dives to date showing the Sights and Sounds Deep Dive. Some of this information I actually covered in my preview of College Football 25! Now, it’s time for them to show you everything I talked about, but with all the little details I didn’t have the chance to cover!

The traditions are one of the most important things in college football. You have the pregame traditions such as tailgating, the marching band pregame shows, the tunnel walk-outs, the cheerleaders, etc. Then you have the in-game traditions such as the celebrations after touchdowns, the marching band hitting the fight songs during and after touchdowns and field goals, and all of the crowd going insane. These are important details to have when trying for realism in a College Football game. As someone who’s played the game a bit already, it hit all those touchstones and more.

I could see my theater building in the background of the stadium at the college I attended. You can see the mascots for all the teams doing their post-touchdown traditions. The bands are all there and ready to play the fight song, all performed by the Blue Devils (a professional marching band for those unfamiliar). During the preview I saw the GIANT books of every song, fight song, and more used in the game.

MASSIVE amounts of detail into the sights and sounds as you’ll read in the blog post from EA Sports.

Beyond that, the team wanted to make sure every area is fully being used and so they added a box in the top right during play selection that will have some of the following. This is from the blog post from EA Sports.

Types of information panels you will see throughout the game:
● Stat Compares
– Today, Season, Career, vs Last Week, vs Opponent
● Impact Players
– Who are they, why are they impact players showing their abilities
● Ranking
– Top players from around the country in TD’s, rushing yards, etc…
● Rankings
– Conference, Media and Coaches Poll, and potential Playoff brackets
● Wear and Tear, Field Goal Kicker range and much more
● We have over 400 panels to keep each game feeling fresh and new

This team behind College Football 25 are full of people who loved NCAA and want to make sure anyone finally retiring NCAA 14 feels like it’s worth the wait. Without further ado, here’s the blog post from EA Sports, their “Sights and Sounds Deep Dive.”
