The teams at Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive took a break from killing Tyranids in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 to prep us for their next big upcoming game, RoadCraft. In RoadCraft you'll have the chance to get out there and build and rebuild with heavy-machinery. In this CGI trailer I got a shot of nostalgia, drawing that direct parallel between the heavy duty construction toys, and the big kid version used for full scale construction. Here's a quick look behind the scenes from the team:

Boasting breathtaking CGI, courtesy of Digic Entertainment, the same studio responsible for Space Marine 2’s epic The Angels of Death CGI trailer, RoadCraft’s “Sandbox Memories” trailer stays true to the game’s technical and graphical prowess. As its majestic visual setting blends with the familiar images of a child playing with construction truck toys, prepare to get that magical feeling back in an advanced version of your childhood backyard playtime – where the only limit is your imagination, and that of your playground partners! Collect impressive vehicles, dispatch your fleet as you see fit and invent stories and scenarios with your friends.

In a world with Assassin's Creed Shadows, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, DOOM: The Dark Ages, and more, it's odd to say it aloud but I'm excited to get out and build some bridges in RoadCraft. There's something cathartic about heading into a boggy mess of an area and rebuilding the infrastructure. There's a great behind-the-scenes look at the features of the game in the trailer below. We've got two open spots on our four-player co-op construction crew – you in?

RoadCraft is headed to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam|Epic) on May 20th, and if you snap it up during the preorder window you can pick up the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T heavy tracked dump truck as a bonus!
