Games like Moonlighter and Dave the Diver did a great job of creating a whole new genre - the cozy management game. Now we've got a new one to check out that hits in the same space – Monster Cuisine. If you were sitting there wondering "Why isn't there a game where you can cook up the critters you kill and then serve them to customers?!" well...then something is probably wrong with you, and now you've got your game! Let's check out Monster Cuisine.

Visceral hack'n'slash dungeon-crawling where you bring your freshly slaughtered game back to your tavern to serve up to your hungry patrons. The more dangerous, the more delicious. Sprinkle the incredibly expressive, charming, and hilarious 2D pixel art style on top, and you’ve got the makings of a hit.
  • Cook What You Kill - Slaughter, season, sear, and serve delicious dishes for your customers and master a recipe book that grows as your kill count (and price) climbs
  • Run Your Fantasy Tavern - Satisfy a diverse cast of patrons with cozy, addictive mini-games and management chaos where you keep the mugs full and plates hot
  • Fierce, Frenzied Fighting - Choose your weapon and your playstyle before going toe-to-toe with mythical creatures in glorious combat
  • Slay In Style - Experiment with your customizable armor sets as you forge the perfect build for your hunts
  • To Be the Boss, Beat the Bosses - Hunt and forage on expeditions across five unique biomes, defeating the most dangerous denizens of the Forbidden Forest and bringing them home for dinner

To get things ready for the upcoming demo, the team at Studio Pizza gave the game a play on YouTube for us to see it for ourselves! Check it out:

We've got our first look on the official announcement trailer - So...you know, go check that out. Chop chop, and before it slithers away!
