Biblical game Gate Zero updates community on status

There aren’t a ton of Bible-based video games out there, so when one that offers the prestige of Gate Zero, you pay attention. The team at Bible X has released an update right before the new year, just in time for us to get excited for what’s to come. If you want to support the game, there are some new options available for you as well.

Exciting Project Updates

1. Vertical Slice Development

Right now, the team is focused on crafting a polished vertical slice, showcasing the new action, exploration, and stealth elements we’ve been working on to make Gate Zero a fun, engaging game for our target audience.

We’re currently filming cutscenes for the vertical slice using AI tech to capture actors’ movements and expressions with 12 cameras, bringing scenes like Jesus healing the paralyzed man to life.

We’ve also expanded our team to include talented developers with experience at Rockstar Games and Ubisoft, who have worked on iconic games such as GTA, Red Dead Redemption, and Assassin’s Creed, ensuring that Gate Zero continues to push the boundaries of quality. (See our latest dev update here)

2. Strengthening Fundraising Efforts

This year, we established our U.S.-based fundraising organization, NextGen Bible Media. In October and December, we raised over $120,000 through two matching campaigns with contributions from 400 donors. This reflects the amazing support we’ve received throughout the year.

Creating a project of this scale and quality requires a budget that aligns with our vision. Historically, limited funding has led to lower-quality Christian media, but we’re determined to change that narrative by delivering something the Christian community can be proud of—while capturing the wider gaming audience.

With a $12.5 million fundraising target, we’re halfway there and seeking partners passionate about spreading the gospel through this groundbreaking medium!

3. Social Media Growth

Gate Zero’s community is thriving, with over 500,000 followers and over 50 million views on social media. The excitement is a proof of the demand for high-quality media in the gaming space that brings the Bible to life.
