It’s already been a year packed with great games, but it’s time to clear some space on your game of the year list. After a very long wait, Untitled Goose Game will finally be out on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch September 20.
According to developer House House, Untitled Goose Game has been in development for nearly three years, and it’s been drawing rapt attention and utter bafflement since it started gaining traction early last year. Originally scheduled for an early 2019 release, the team pushed the game back to an unspecified date back in February, likely after they found capturing the demonically irritating power of the goose more difficult than they first assumed.
It’s finally time to honk.

In case it wasn’t clear already, in Untitled Goose Game, you play as a goose doing its best to ruin the good time of everyone in its vicinity, as geese are wont to do. It seems like a solid mix of puzzle solving and just generally being a nuisance, two time-honored traditions in video games.
