After over 7 months of waiting, Nintendo Switch owners finally have information on the release date of the Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor, Yooka-Laylee.
Originally intended to be released on the WiiU, Yooka-Laylee hit several difficulties and the WiiU version had to be cancelled. However, a Nintendo Switch version appeared in its place, but it wouldn’t be out in time with the other versions. For months, fans waited with baited breath as questions about Yooka-Laylee’s Switch launch was always greeted with an answer such as “we’re working on it.”
Back in April, we wrote a review on Yooka-Laylee and praised it for enrapturing the platforming genre in the late 90’s. Yooka-Laylee will be released on December 14th, 2017 for Nintendo Switch.
