XBOX showcases accessible thumbstick toppers at Ability Summit

It's always great when more people can play games. XBOX has done a lot in that respect, and today at the Ability Summit, they brought out even more. New XBOX Adaptive Thumbstick Toppers are coming to the XBOX Design Lab, starting Thursday, May 21. Take a look at the announcement below.

Today, during the Ability Summit, XBOX revealed an updated set of XBOX Adaptive Thumbstick Toppers, shaped by feedback from the disability community. The new design enhances durability by minimizing accidental removal during high-force usage and introduces a new, highly requested Goal Post topper shape.

Refine your gaming setup to game your way with Microsoft’s complementary 3D printable files for adaptive thumbstick toppers, available for download with Xbox Design Lab.**
These revamped toppers and new Goal Post shape will be available through the XBOX Design Lab 3D printable configurator page beginning on Global Accessibility Awareness Day on Thursday, May 21. The original designs, announced in 2024, were created to give players even more accessibility options to support their gameplay with XBOX.
