On August 24, Raven Software, one of the many developers working on the Call of Duty franchise, banned over 100,000 Call of Duty accounts that were “repeat offenders and cheat providers.”
They reported this news via a tweet on August 25, and promised more updates to come with regards to Warzone. This news comes after a massive upsurge in cheaters in both Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone that caused many big name streamers to drop the game in favor of others with more stable ecosystems.

More updates to come across #Warzone.

The developers are finally taking more steps to combat the massive amount of cheaters in the game, but it is too soon to tell how effective these measures will be.
