There’s a mode in Ms. Splosion Man called ‘2 Girls 1 Controller’. How ballsy is that? Now Xbox 360 owners won’t be the only ones to experience this dubious mode. Announced today by developer Twisted Pixel, Ms. Splosion Man is coming to a PC near you via Steam, as well as Windows 7 Phone and iPhone/Pad/Pod.
“This will be our first mobile game, and only our second Steam game,” explains Twisted Pixel’s Michael Wilford. “But it’s very important to us that we have great content on these high-end platforms, so these new versions are being painstakingly crafted to be as awesome as possible. We’re planning a lot of post-launch updates and support to make sure we get it right.”
PC gamers can look forward to 50 single player levels, 50 co-op levels that support up to four players locally and online, and replayability-boosting features such as ghost replays, achievements, and unlockable content. The mobile versions will be built on a new version of the BEARD engine which promises to take full advantage of the mobile hardware.
Details on pricing and release date are soon to come.

Sean started playing video games in infancy. He was not given a choice as much as a directive from his parents to be the best gamer on Earth. Sean was subjected to 10-12 hours of rigorous daily gaming throughout his youth, mastering the most complex video games and dominating online competitions. Sean's symbiotic relationship with video games led to writing about them for various gaming websites, and he is currently involved in sales strategy and analytics at one of the largest video game publishers in the world. Sean's mission is simple: Turn 100% of the human population into gamers, willingly or otherwise.
