Rocketwerkz reveals new gameplay trailer ahead of release of Icarus: New Frontiers expansion

Icarus: New Frontiers is right around the corner, and it brings with it a whole slew of new features. Rocketwerkz has been giving us fresh content every single week since launch, but now we see the first major expansion of the Icarus universe. New creatures, new weapons, new tools, new building materials, and so much more. You won’t have to wait long — it launches on August 24th! Having spent a few hundred hours in the world of Icarus all I can say after seeing this trailer is….good luck!

The team has also revealed two live-action videos called No Rescue and The Seeker — you can see them below.

Icarus | The Seeker

If you missed our review of Icarus, you might have noticed that our first brush with the game wasn’t kind.  Since then the Rocketwerkz team has done incredible work, transforming it from a buggy and punishing mess into something that has captured hundreds of hours for my wife and I.  If you are into challenging survival crafting, there’s a whole world of adventure ahead of you.  Obviously this makes New Frontiers interesting as it looks to unify so much of that additional content and a whole new world on top.   Stay tuned as I’m sure we’ll be covering this one very soon…
