Resident Evil 2 to receive free DLC on February 15th, explores three “what-if” scenarios

Raccoon City’s story gets a little bigger when Resident Evil 2 receives “The Ghost Stories,” free DLC featuring three different scenarios. These are “what if” stories about three people that didn’t quite make it out of the city.

Each of these stories focuses on a different character within the city. No Time to Mourn focuses on the Gunshop Owner, who was shown in the beginning of the original Resident Evil 2 game, Runaway will have players assume the role of the mayor’s daughter, and Forgotten Soldier will tell the tale of a soldier with a backstory yet unknown. In addition to these three stories, Capcom announced that players will receive free retro costumes the same day.

The Ghost Stories DLC and the retro costumes DLC will be available for free on February 15th, 2019. Resident Evil 2 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Curious to see whether the remake is worth entering the world of survival horror once again? Check out our review here.
