Pikmin 4 is real, and “very close to completion”

Nintendo is apparently nearing the end of development on a fourth Pikmin game, according to Shigeru Miyamoto.

In an interview with Eurogamer back in July, Miyamoto confirmed that Pikmin 4 was “actually very close to completion,” as “Pikmin teams are always working on the next one.” Nintendo later confirmed that the game was in development to the outlet, but no other details were given. Whether Pikmin 4 will be a Wii U game or is being developed for Nintendo’s next platform, currently codenamed “NX,” is unknown.
