The remastered Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker now has a packaged version, for those Zelda fans who prefer a disc over a downloaded version from the Nintendo eShop. The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD comes in a gold-foil package, a reference to the original NES Zelda cartridge (oh how time has passed) and the Ocarina of Time cartridge as well of course. The retail price is set at $ 49.99.
At the same moment, Nintendo is releasing a limited edition Wii U-boxset, including a black Deluxe Wii U console, a pretty GamePad controller adorned with the gold Hyrule crest and symbols from the game; a download code for the digital version of Hyrule Historia, a book that details the chronology, history and artwork of The Legend of Zelda series; and a code to download The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (so no disc version) from the Nintendo eShop. The bundle is available at a suggested retail price of $299.99
Neat stuff for die hard-collectors, in other words.
Tom has been gaming ever since he could walk. As soon as he got his hands on an NES, his childhood revolved around the adventures of Mario and Link.
