New Star Wars sourcebook, Collapse of the Republic, announced by Fantasy Flight Games, second to cover the Clone Wars

Following the announcement of Allies and Adversaries in January, Fantasy Flight Games today announced a new sourcebook covering the latter days of the Clone Wars, picking up where Rise of the Separatists left off. This book contains new player character options including the ability to play as a Death Watch Warrior.

Collapse of the Republic serves as a companion piece and a sequel of sorts to Rise of the Separatists. While the latter book details the first half of the Clone Wars, Collapse of the Republic details the end of the war and the Republic. Along with a new era embraced by this new book, you’ll also find new species and specializations included within the sourcebook—all of which played a role in the Clone Wars, including the mystic Dathomirians.

Collapse of the Republic contains characters that can be used in games such as Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force and Destiny. There are also new takes on classic tropes such as Clone Troopers having adapted to new battle strategies with specializations. These include the ARC Troopers, a small and tactical squad specialists.
