New Quantum Break trailer gives us gameplay

Quantum Break was one of those titles that wowed us at the Xbox One’s debut, but we have constantly craved a gameplay demonstration since.  Well, tonight at the VGX we got our wish with the debut of a new trailer.  Here’s a bit about the Remedy Entertainment / Microsoft title:

Featuring all-new gameplay footage, the “Quantum Break” trailer showcases the game’s breathtaking graphics and reveals the first narrative and gameplay details for the revolutionary entertainment experience that combines a cinematic action game with a high-quality, live-action show. Creative Director Sam Lake discusses Remedy Entertainment’s vision for “Quantum Break,” and introduces heroes Jack Joyce and Beth Wilder, as well as antagonist Paul Serene. He also reveals new storyline and gameplay features, like the ability to play as both heroes and manipulate time, and discusses why “Quantum Break” will deliver the “ultimate Remedy experience” by integrating gameplay and television into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience.

The GameTrailers exclusive trailer is getting absolutely pummeled right now, but it should come up with a bit of persistence.   The game looks like an amalgamation of previous Remedy products Alan Wake and Max Payne.  We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about Jack and Beth (and their time powers) and their fight against the evil corporation Monarch.
