Morning Bird Studio (CEO Euisoo Jin) has announced its participation in the 2024 PlayX4 B2B at KINTEX in Ilsan from May 23rd to 26th.

They are currently developing a puzzle game called ‘Flow of Sound,’ which is scheduled to be launched at the end of June 2024. They decided to participate in this exhibition to receive and reflect the final feedback from users in the final stages before the release. They have also prepared various events for merchandise giveaways and pre-launch promotions. Additionally, they have conducted over 20 play broadcasts by overseas influencers in preparation for the launch.

Morning Bird Studio stated, “We developed a game using the latest Unity Engine technology DOTS, and our work has been officially invited to participate in the booth exhibition at the world’s top three game shows, with numerous award-winning achievements.” They explained, “The game was inspired by the scene of people crowding during rush hour at Sindorim Station on Line 1 to Line 2 during morning commutes. It received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award in 2023 for its innovative planning.”

Furthermore, they added, “We hope to expand into South America and China. We developed the game with a global multi-platform release in mind from the planning stage. The game allows brilliantly shining balls to reach their destination, and instead of complex graphics, we used basic shapes to ensure smooth operation even on low-spec devices. It features color differentiation in ‘red, orange, yellow, green, blue’ for easy and intuitive understanding in various languages and cultural regions. In November 2023, we signed a global distribution contract with publisher CFK.”

Morning Bird Studio has been continuously Exhibiting in Korean and international game exhibitions, including Smilegate’s Burning Beaver (Won the Beaver Featured award), PlayX4, CONQuest Festival in the Philippines, Busan Indie Connect (BIC) Festival (An awards finalist in the Best Audio category), BIGS 2023, the 4th Fairplay Eunpyeong Game Experience Zone, Try Everything 2023, 2023 Tokyo Game Show(TGS 2023) (Selected as one of the 80 Indies of TGS 2023), Contents Korea 2023, G-Star B2C (Ranked 1st in the Naver Game Lounge), Korea Indie Game Showcase at Helsinki, and the 2023 Global Indie Game Development Contest (GIGDC 2023) (Won the planning category in the awards). This year, they also participated as sponsors in the Zempie Global Game Jam and exhibited at the Taipei Game Show in Taiwan.
