Well, we didn't expect one of the surprises. The main Call of Duty socials account dropped a tease yesterday, saying the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta would feature "two surprises". One wasn't as big, with Warzone's next Resurgence map called Zodiac being available during the second weekend. The bigger one is that a campaign mission will be featured! We wanted to share a quick Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Beta update from Asha Sharma, CEO of XBOX. Her post confirms that the MW4 Beta will feature "Entrenched," an exclusive single-player Campaign Mission. Additionally, during Weekend 2 players can try out the new Call of Duty: Warzone Resurgence Map, Zodiac. Both are firsts for the Call of Duty franchise, and round out a massive Beta content offering across both weekends.

The Modern Warfare 4 Beta begins on August 21 for players who pre-order the game digitally on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and opens to all players, including Switch 2, on August 28. Beta details are available at the Call of Duty blog.
