Today, Paradox and The Chinese Room released the first developer diary of 2025 for Vampire: The Masquerade–Bloodlines 2. Titled “Legend of the Nomad,” the developer diary explores the history and lore behind the player character, Phyre. With insight from Project Creative Director Alex Skidmore, Narrative Director Ian Thomas, Senior Narrative Designer and Writer Sarah Longthorne, and more, eager Kindred can learn about:
- Phyre’s legend as an Elder
- Themes behind Phyre as The Nomad
- Art and asset creation
- A peek into how players can customize their version of Phyre
The next developer diary, “Advanced Combat & Weapons,” will be available on January 29.
