Coming from someone who adores survival crafting games, this one went right into my wishlist. We don't know much about the setting just yet, but what I do know is this could be another shakeup to the genre.
During today's Summer Game Fest showcase, tinyBuild revealed Last Harbor, a persistent open-world, multiplayer, survival crafting game set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest where zombies have taken over the land, leaving your boat on the seas as the last safe haven. Live on the waters, crafting, fishing, cooking and more, while upgrading your vessel as a floating, moving home base. Venture into the deadly zombie wasteland in search of resources, make co-op allies or enemies with other players, and try to survive in this unique social survival experience featuring tactical FPS gameplay and large-scale zombie hordes!
Humanity has fallen. The undead roam the land and the few remaining survivors have taken to the sea in search of refuge. Either solo or with a group of friends, you'll have to maintain and upgrade your vessel, organize expeditions to the land to gather supplies like fuel, weaponry, and medicine, and avoid zombie hordes to try to stay alive.
But every expedition could be your last. It’s not just the zombies that are out for blood in Last Harbor!

Key Features
- Home Is Where the Boat Is: Welcome to your new home away from the zombie apocalypse! Craft, fish, and more while upgrading and customizing your vessel to enhance its functionality, safeguard against raids, house your fellow survivors, and navigate the seas more effectively.
- Open-World Coastal Survival: You can only stay alive on the water for so long. Venture ashore to hunt for resources and loot, but watch out for the creatures, living and unliving, who may be hunting you!
- Travel Together, Stay Alive: Everyone needs someone to watch their back. Ally with other players in co-op to defend against the dangers all around you. Navigate encounters with other players and decide whether or not to pull the trigger in tactical FPS action, but think carefully – a gunfight could draw the attention of the undead.
- Safe Harbor in a Storm: Venture across a persistent open world featuring dynamic weather. Find safe harbors where guards keep the peace, socializing with other players and renting anchorage to keep your boat afloat.
