Today during the Fan Festival in Anaheim, Square Enix announced the next expansion for Final Fantasy XIV: Evercold.
Evercold sees the Warrior of Light and the Scions traveling to the fourth reflection. This one has experienced a calamity of Ice, causing the people to flee to islands high above the clouds as the land freezes below, similar to the Kingdom of Zeal from Chrono Trigger.
