Long-time collaborators iam8bit and ATLUS are excited to reveal two new additions to their ever-growing collection of Persona vinyl soundtracks. The Persona 4 Arena & Persona 4 Arena Ultimax 3xLP and Persona Q 4xLP albums feature the best tracks from each game pressed on premium vinyl and amazing custom art that nails the all-important Persona style for each game. Both albums will be available for pre-order starting October 3, 2024, at 9 a.m. PDT at iam8bit.com and are expected to ship Q2 2025.
We at iam8bit love a great combo. That’s why we’re proud to bring you this, the P4A & P4AU 3xLP. It’s the very best of Persona 4 Arena™ and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax’s music, pressed on splatter vinyl across three gorgeous discs – red with black splatter and blue with black splatter.
In Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4’s Investigation Team clashes with the Shadow Operatives of Persona 3 in stylish, combo-driven 1-on-1 battles, broken up by visual novel cutscenes that tell an original, canonical story set in the Persona universe.
The original 2D fighter was unlike anything the series had ever seen, and it was an instant fan favorite. It’s no wonder, then, that a sequel soon followed.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax both refined the gameplay of the first game and wrapped up its story with two unique campaigns, split between the Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast. Packed with tons of additional content, online play, a survival mode, and more, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax was more fighting game goodness in every single way.
Just as P4A remixed the gameplay of Persona, so too did its music – taking familiar motifs and themes from the series and paint them in an all-new light. The ATLUS Sound Team packed both titles’ soundtracks with original songs, fresh remixes, and fan-favorite bangers perfect for battling the night away.
Plus, we teamed up with stalwart and talented Persona design alum, Drew Wise, to craft all-new, drool-worthy album art, the perfect complement to the stylish 2D fighter and the latest must-have for your record shelf.
What happens when you meld the elegant combat of the Persona series with the meticulous dungeon mapping of the Etrian Odyssey™ RPG series? You get Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth™, a certified banger of a spin-off from ATLUS packed with enough style and substance to make the Nintendo 3DS burst.
But make no mistake: Despite being on a more diminutive system than some of its older cousins, Persona Q lacks none of the punch, panache, and pizazz the series is known for. That’s doubly true for the electrifying music.
For Persona Q, the ATLUS Sound Team created a unique soundtrack that still lives firmly in the world of the Persona series. PQ explores a gentler soundscape, fitting for the game’s more deliberate, dungeon-crawling gameplay. It’s wonderful stuff, and we at iam8bit are pleased as punch to bring it to you here.
This is the Persona Q 4xLP, and it is positively loaded with the very best tracks from the game. Pressed on high-quality Multicolor vinyl – two yellow/blue discs and two purple/cream discs – each disc has been mastered to ensure an optimal listening experience, every single spin.
Plus, it wouldn’t be an iam8bit x Persona release without next level album art. We tapped Persona pal, Drew Wise, to pretty up this premium collector’s box, housing the gorgeous 4-disc set.
