Ever wanted to enroll in magic school without the risk of failing potions? Chucklefish Games has announced that Witchbrook, its long-awaited witch life-sim, arrives on January 28, 2027, and the news came with a new release date trailer during Nintendo's Indie World showcase.
The publisher says the trailer shows gameplay and the cozy world of the game. Witchbrook casts you as the newest resident witch in Mossport, a bustling seaside town, where you make friends, find love and discover a world of wonder and charm on the road to graduation and beyond. It's a magical school and town life simulator, played in an isometric pixel art world.
Chucklefish is both developer and publisher. Witchbrook launches on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, and it supports up to four players, so your coven doesn't have to be imaginary.
A date on the calendar is a pleasant thing for anyone who has been waiting on Mossport's front gates to open. Now it's just a matter of finding something suitably pointy to wear.
