Behind the Frame paints an August release date for PC

Today, Silver Lining Studio and Akupara Games announced that they will release Behind the Frame for PC on August 25. In addition to a new trailer that debuted today, there will also be a limited time Steam demo that will be available for free.

Today, during Dreamhack Beyond Showcase, Akatsuki Taiwan’s Silver Lining Studio and co-publisher Akupara Games revealed the August 25, 2021 launch date for the Studio-Ghibli inspired, interactive fiction, Behind the Frame. Get an early peek of the adventure with the chapter one demo on Steam, available now for a limited time.

“We are genuinely excited and grateful about all the attention and lovely comments we’ve received about Behind the Frame. We believe that games are a great channel for people to enjoy stories and a great medium to experience character’s emotions more immersively, so we worked hard to make this game the best experience for anyone, anytime and anywhere.” Said Weichen Lin, the game’s Art Director. “Now that we’re close to our official launch, we look forward to sharing our game with players around the world. I hope this game can touch your heart, and we will see the world a little bit differently after seeing through our painter’s eye.”
