Bananas are a bad influence with the new launch trailer for My Friend Pedro

Devolver Digital and DeadToast Entertainment have released an animated new trailer for the upcoming game My Friend Pedro, which will be released tomorrow for Nintendo Switch and PC. The video has a Saturday morning cartoon aesthetic with a lovely helping of stylized violence and a whole lot of talking bananas.

In celebration of My Friend Pedro’s impending arrival on PC and Switch, the crew at developer DeadToast Entertainment and Devolver Digital have cooked up a vision of what our childhood cartoons might have looked like if TV parental guidelines were never a thing.

The new clip is also a great reminder that, like Pedro, you could totally be the face of a new hit cooking show if you just picked up one of those little chef hats. He looks like a bonafide professional, no?
