LOS ANGELES – August 20 – Delta Force, the upcoming iteration of the fan-favorite Delta Force franchise, previewed exclusive gameplay during the global premiere of their new gameplay trailer at gamescom 2024. Team Jade announced that Delta Force (Previously Delta Force: Hawk Ops) will be playable during Steam Next Fest, ahead of the early access release in Q4.
Premiering the new gameplay trailer for the first time ever at Opening Night Live at gamescom, Team Jade has updated the name of the game simply to Delta Force. The gameplay trailer gives fans a glimpse of the new extraction map Brakkesh, and showcases the weapons arsenal. Team Jade recently announced that Delta Force has been wishlisted on Steam over 1.5 million times, following their previous Summer Game Fest Announcement. Ahead of early access, players can expect Delta Force at Steam Next Fest in October with new reveals and gameplay details.
“The entire team is very thrilled to bring Delta Force to gamescom, where we will welcome thousands of players to experience our game,” says Leo Yao, Head of Studio at Team Jade. “We can’t wait to talk with players, enjoy the event together, and gather their feedback as we shape the future of Delta Force together with the community. We’re excited to share Delta Force with even more players—first at Steam Next Fest, and then during its Early Access in Q4.”
During Delta Force’s gamescom entertainment hall debut, players can enjoy hands-on experiences with the game, photo opportunities, and exclusive merch throughout the conference.
Delta Force is an upcoming free-to-play tactical shooter, which will feature large-scale multiplayer modes, as well as an action-packed single-player/co-op campaign, a deep weapons arsenal for customization, and more. The currently running Alpha test includes both multiplayer modes:
Havoc Warfare: A 32v32 player game mode where teams battle across two massive maps (available in the Alpha) of authentic terrain, utilizing a range of military vehicles, tanks and aircraft to take on the enemy across the large living battlefields.
Hazard Operations: Form a squad of three to take on rival teams and marauding AI-controlled mercenaries and Royal Guards. Random events across three huge maps (available in the Alpha) will keep players on their toes, while PvE-focused missions can be completed for valuable loot.
