Dead by Daylight celebrates two years of slaughter with a new chapter and an in-game store

Today, Behavior Digital revealed a celebration for the second anniversary of their multiplayer online survival horror game, Dead by Daylight. This celebration includes a new online store and another chapter, Curtain Call.

Curtain Call will take place in Campbell’s Chapel and will introduce a new killer, The Clown. In addition, the game will now feature an in-game store where players can purchase cosmetic items for the characters via in-game currency. Iridescent Shards will be earned through playtime while Auric Cells will be available for purchase.

“We can’t believe it’s already been two years. What’s even more incredible is that this was just the beginning. We are committed to making Dead by Daylight bigger and more fun (or terrifying) in the long run. In March, we introduced our new roadmap. We will continue developing new chapters, features and perks for as long as players demand it and will now introduce mid-chapter patches to ensure balancing and proper bug fixing” said Mathieu Côté, Game Director.

Both Curtain Call and the in-game store are currently available to try on Steam through a public test build. For more information, visit the official website.
